Ok...so it was a long day. Work and meetings. I hop into a cab to save time and my feet, so why is the cabbie crazy???

Totally, 100% out of his mind.

He was yelling and cursing and telling me he wasn't going to take it anymore, and I'm like "take what?" All I wanted was to get let out of that dang cab. He finally pulled up to my building and a guy was about to get into his cab and I whispered to him that the cabbie was crazy. Then the cabbie yells to me "What did you tell him miss?!?". I yelled back "Have a nice day!"

Decisions

You know there is a time when you look in front of you and you are truly at the crossroads.

You have no idea as to the direction your life is going to take. Do you stay on the well worn path? Or walk the road less traveled? It can be a scary time, but with loving and caring people around, I know I will make the right decision.

Do I know what future will hold? Of course not. Nor do I know which path I will take. Either way, I have enjoyed making my way to this point.

Movie Rating...X-Men

I will admit I use to love the X-Men comic books. Excuse me...I mean LOVED the X-Men. I sat through the first and second X-Men movies, hoping and wishing that they would correct themselves.

If you read the comic books as a kid or an adult you know what I am referring to...pratically everthing is wrong!!! I am not going into all the details but...Rouge was useless in the movie and she could fly in the comic books, she had confidence, spunk and had a Southern Accent!!! Hell the aminated series was more accurate than the movies.

With that said...the movie was ok...I give it a B-

Apartment hunting in Silver Spring

I'm in the process of trying to move closer to work (in DC). There are several apartment buildings in Silver Spring that I have been looking at. Although the reviews of such apartments are awful..But dang near every apartment has a bad rating..so seriously bitter and angry people...anyway....which apartments do people like?

My choices are:

1. Alexander house
2. Bennington
3. The Blairs (all except the Towns--I'm not made of money)

That's about it.

Any thoughts about those?

To a certain person I know, see I updated the blog!!! So now you do the same!! Things have been really boring over here.

I saw a couple of great movies though.

Crash- A+ - although at times very hard to watch.

The Longest Yard- B+- very funny. Also a plus was the fact that the audience in the theater was having a great time. It was weird everyone was on the same page, it was a late movie (9:40pm) everyone was in a very chill mood. I laughed and joked with the people sitting next to me. So that made the movie experience even better.

Revenge of the Sith- A- very good, but of course if you saw 4-6 it was predicable. You know who had to live and who died. Although, it did fill some gaps, but the dialog between the lead role and his wife was soo bad, people in the theater started booing!

I love the Golden Girls. Yes, I do own the DVD first season collection (Gotta love Christmas and great friends for that one!)

I am 24 years old and those over 50 yro women crack me up.

Jay Leno is funny too...reason this is being mentioned is because he's on right now. So, as I was saying (or typing) I like Jay Leno, but not in the knee-slapping kind of way. More in the subtle "haha" or a smile type thing.

Weird, but there it is folks, I like Jay Leno and the Golden Girls.

SYDNEY (Reuters) - Bemused diners watched as three hapless thieves unsuccessfully tried to kick open a sliding door in a botched attempt to rob an Australian seafood restaurant, police said on Monday.

The men, wearing balaclavas, ran off empty-handed but left their bootprints on the industrial-strength glass door in a robbery bid that Australian Broadcasting Corp. radio said could have been mistaken as "a rehearsal for a slapstick comedy."

Police said about 20 diners watched as the men, one of whom was carrying a knife, tried to push open the door of the restaurant in the coastal village of Gerringong, 140 km (85 miles) south of Sydney, and then began kicking the glass.

"They're probably more dangerous because they're dumb," police investigator Jamie Williams said.

Restaurant owner Greg Moore said diners remained calm as they watched events unfold while enjoying dessert and coffee.

"The door's open, the sign says 'Slide' but obviously with their balaclavas they couldn't read too well," Moore said.

Diners were given complimentary bottles of wine after the bizarre episode. Police later found what they believe to be a stolen car used in the robbery attempt, and are continuing their investigations.

Life with no Cable

I don't have cable and never have. The only time I did was in my last two years of college.
When I would tell people that I don't have cable they looked shocked! and felt the need to either:

1. Laugh or,
2. Ask why? or,
3. Tell me to get it or,
4. Look at me with a confused expression, like what TV doesn't come with cable?

Anyway, I don't have much time so it doesn't bother me...but there are times when I do crave music videos. Of course, I would love to see the educational stuff too....but now I am addicted...yes addicted to Launch. I have been playing Destiny's Child "Lose My Breath" and Seether with Amy Lee's "Broken" video's for a lllloooooonnnnggggg time.

So sad......but much cheaper than cable.

BTW: I've been trying to dance like Destiny's Child....and right now I have a heating pad on my back. That'll teach me!

I used AOL years ago, I mean back in 199o's and they annoyed me then and for the life of me I don't know why people still use it? What does AOL offer now that Comcast or Verizon doesn't offer? Please someone let me know, that is the pull of AOL. I understand that people still use the dial-up service and it's about $24 a month for that. You can a cheaper dial-up other places! Why do people still use this service???
